In a remarkable display of industry-wide adoption, major cloud service providers are racing to integrate DeepSeek R1, the advanced large language model (LLM), into their AI offerings. This accelerated rollout across global platforms signals the model's growing importance in the enterprise AI ecosystem.

Amazon Web Services - AWS announced full availability of DeepSeek R1 models across their infrastructure. According to their official blog, AWS now offers DeepSeek R1 through Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker, providing enterprises with options for both managed API access and custom deployment scenarios. This implementation supports the full range of DeepSeek R1 variants, including the 235B parameter version known for its exceptional reasoning capabilities.

Microsoft has integrated DeepSeek R1 into its Azure AI Foundry platform, with additional GitHub integration to streamline developer workflows. Azure's implementation focuses on enterprise-grade security and compliance features, positioning DeepSeek R1 as a viable solution for regulated industries. The integration aligns with Microsoft's strategy of offering diverse model options within its AI infrastructure.

Google Cloud Platform - GCP has followed suit with detailed deployment paths for DeepSeek R1. According to the IBM Community blog, their Watsonx platform now supports DeepSeek R1 distilled models, prioritizing efficient inference for enterprise workloads. IBM's implementation provides detailed technical guidance for deployment and inference optimization, with particular attention to achieving production-level performance while minimizing computational resource requirements. Alibaba Cloud has implemented "one-click deployment" options for both DeepSeek V3 and R1 models, streamlining access for their primarily APAC customer base. Meanwhile, Huawei Cloud has positioned itself as a key infrastructure provider for DeepSeek models, part of what the South China Morning Post characterizes as "China's bid for AI autonomy."

First Indian sovereign cloud provider Acecloud declared through it's co-founder that "the addition of DeepSeek GenAI models as an offering on AceCloud’s environments will unleash limitless opportunities for businesses in India seeking cost efficient and scalable GenAI solutions, while remaining confident that their data will be compliant with India’s data protection and sovereignty requirements"
